Beauty Faves #1

Hey Lovelies

I am here to share some of the beauty products that I have been loving over the last couple of months. I don’t use a lot of products so when I tell you these are faves, they really are faves because I haven’t switched them up! Let’s get into it!

Avon Gentle Moisture Face Cream

I ran out of my coconut oil and I had to make a quick switch over. I decided to try this face cream after my mother recommended these face creams to me. Let’s just say I was definitely impressed. My face didn’t react, or dry out. At just $3, I have already made another order for 2!

Avon True Colour Flawless Mattifying Pressed Powder

Ever since I bought this powder, everytime I put on makeup I reach for it. If you didn’t know already, I actually don’t use foundation. Instead I use a tinted moisturiser which I made a couple of months back (You can find it here). The moisturiser plus this powder give me the perfect coverage. I also have dry skin so the powder brings a great balance. This powder has also made my highlight process actually work out but I’ll explain that later. At just $9! Need I say more?

DIY Makeup Setting Spray

Just when I got into makeup, the highlight and contour craze had just started. Now as a newbie I also wanted to be part of it of course. And boy did I fail. I bought it all, the concealer 2 shades lighter than your skin tone, the Ben Eye banana powder, the blending sponge. It just never worked out and I decided to leave it to the pros. Until recently when I decided to give it a go and it actually worked! 2 products brought it all together. The Avon Mattifying Powder and this Makeup Setting Spray (which you can find here). Let me just say I will definitely be making more of this product and the highlight will be POPPIN’!

Dischem Lip Therapy

These babies have been my favourite for the longest time. They are very moisturising. Perfect for your pre-Matte Lipstick application. I literally keep one in every bag because I can’t go with out them! Did I mention they only cost R10?

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

This product is amazing amazing amazing! At first I only bought it because it was on special and a Youtuber had mentioned it before. Weak reason right? But I do not regret it. I ran out of my DIY Makeup Remover (can be found here) the other day so I switched to this product. It literally removes that stubborn Matte lipstick in just one wipe! I never even ended up making another batch of the Makeup remover because of it. As you can see it’s practically finished but I will definitely be buying it again.
(Sidenote : If you are in Zimbabwe and know where I can find it, please let me know in the comments section below? Thanks!)

DIY Shea Butter

I am in love! It hasn’t been long but I am head over heels over this product! My hair is soft, moisturised and healthy again. Shea Butter I love you! I am even out of words because of it!Β  You can see how I made it here!

So there you have it! These are the products that are ensuring that I FLOURISH! Which products have you been loving lately? I’d love to know in the comments section below!
Let’s have fun, discover and share!
