DIY Tinted Moisturiser

I hope you are all well. So throughout my makeup/ glow up journey, I have found myself looking for shortcuts all in the name of looking pretty. Haha! And over the next few weeks I will be sharing a couple of DIYs that I use that actually work!

Today I will start with a tinted moisturiser. We all have those days that we don’t really want to go the whole 9 yards with our makeup but still want a bit of a finish on our faces yes? And you forgot to buy that BB cream or just couldn’t find the right shade? Well this is perfect for just that! My ‘recipe’ is as simple as it gets. However there are a couple of other products you could use to make this a BB Cream. NB! Mine is just a tinted moisturiser.

Let’s get started!

What you’ll need:
A liquid foundation (Your shade of course)Face Moisturiser
Small container

NB!!! Before you start, sterilise your container!

Step 1) Put your moisturiser into the little container. I used a plastic knife to do this.

Step 2) Pump some foundation into the container. I used about 15 pumps.

Step 3) Mix it all together. You can swatch it in between to see if the coverage is good. Add more foundation if you need to.

And you’re done!

This was my face AFTER I used the tinted moisturiser. The difference is very subtle which is what I was going for. This is what I will use on my no makeup days. (No other products have been used in these images)

To make a BB cream you would use a face moisturiser, a liquid foundation, a face primer and a sunscreen.

And it’s as easy as that. For more coverage, which most may prefer, just add more pumps of foundation. That’s it for today! Let’s have fun, discover and share!
